In today’s world, Organ Donation is the need of the hour.
A 55 yr old lady, suffering from chronic kidney disease, was on maintenance haemodialysis in Charnock Hospital, underwent cadaveric Renal Transplant on 30th December 2022.

Mrs Mahua Sengupta received a Cadaveric Kidney from a donor in Medica. After the transplantation done by our Renal transplant team, she recovered soon and her kidney functions became absolutely normal. She was discharged with good health and perfectly functioning kidneys.

These incidents remind us that with cooperation and a little bit of awareness and empathy, many lives can be saved.
